Myanmar coffee
1000–1400 m · picked December to March · Arabica in Shan State, robusta in the south
Coffee has grown in the Shan hills for a century, but the specialty story started in 2014 when a development project taught village groups to produce sun-dried naturals. Indian S795 is one of the main varieties.

In the cup: Sweet, fruity naturals: dried mango, red fruit, chocolate.
Next to Indian coffee: Same S795 variety as half of Chikmagalur, processed natural. A Myanmar natural next to an Indian S795 natural shows how much the drying and the altitude change the cup.
